LOCO BLOCO
In July of 2026, Loco Bloco will take a group of youth on a Youth Cultural X-Change to the island of Hawaiʻi. Twelve deeply committed young people of color, accompanied by adult mentors, will spend six days in the Waimea area of Hawaiʻi Island exchanging culture with Native Hawaiian youth, leaders, and practitioners. Together, they will share music, dance, stories, and land-based learning, culminating in a community celebration rooted in connection, creativity, and mutual respect. Help us raise the funds needed for this transformational journey!
In Loving Memory of our Beloved percussion instructor, Tico Dos Santos: Your energy and spirit is still alive within our hearts and minds. You are a powerful expression of Divine love and joy. Thank you for everything you shared and taught us. We will continue to sing, dance and drum, knowing that you are now guiding us from the ancestor realm. And in our still moments, we will hear the sound of your drumming, voice and music. Obrigado.
